Our team
The people behind the deals
A small UK team of travellers and engineers, plus an engine that never sleeps. Here is who does what, and why the mix matters.
How we are set up
Most of the searching is done by software we built ourselves. It watches fares across UK airports around the clock and has logged more than 1.3 million prices across roughly 21,000 routes. That is the part no small team could do by hand.
But software alone publishes junk. So people set the rules the engine follows, review what it surfaces, and decide what is actually worth your attention. The engine finds the candidates. We decide what earns a place on the site. Neither half works without the other.
The roles
- Engineering. Builds and runs the fare-tracking engine, the price-history baselines, and the live verification step that re-checks every deal before it publishes.
- Editorial. Sets the standards for what counts as a deal, writes the guides, and keeps the copy honest. If a claim cannot be backed by our own data, it does not go in.
- Deal review. Sanity-checks what the engine flags, catches the odd false positive, and makes sure a headline price always matches a real, bookable trip.
